Part 1: Of Mice and Men collage
I chose a picture of a bunny because Lennie is obsessed with rabbits and that’s what makes him happy and gets him through the day. It is the only thing that he has to look forward to.
I chose a picture of a baby because Lennie reminds me of a little kid, having to be taken care of and never fully understanding what’s going on around him. He also reminds me of a child because he is so dependent on George and he can’t do anything without him.
The picture of a dead dog represents the puppy that Lennie killed. That was the point when Lennie started to get worked up and then everything got out of hand. That triggered the chain of events that lead up to Curley’s wife’s death.
I chose a picture of a pond because George tells Lennie that if he ever gets into trouble that he should hide in the brush. The brush that he was talking about had many trees and a pond. This is also were George ends up killing Lennie.
