Part 3: Newspaper article: My Antonia

This article reminds me of My Antonia because the mean owner reminded me of Wick Cutter. Mr. Cutter swindles immigrants out of money and gambles. He also tries to assault girls that work for him. In the article, the owner tried to make it look like he worked in the mine, even though he didn’t. He also didn’t have proper work licenses. I can see Mr. Cutter doing all those things as well. I am honestly surprised that Jim is the only person that Mr. Cutter has hurt, but I can definitely see him hurting somebody for money.
