Part 7: Unique word for My Antonia.
I chose the word viraginity. It means masculine qualities in a woman.
Antonia reminds me of this because after her father dies, she acts more like a farmhand rather than a daughter. She becomes very strong, and very proud of her strength. This word also reminds me of Lena. Nobody sees her as a woman, only someone to help with farm work. After they clean up and stop farming, everyone can tell that they are very womanly. I think that farm girls almost had to have at least some viraginity because they had to help out their family.
